The 8th Day: Trust & Deception is an invite-only social deduction series that blends long-form storytelling, creator profiles, and an evolving game of trust and influence.
Participants are not actors. They are creators, professionals, and leaders already highlighted by 248 Collective—invited into a private, narrative-driven experiment.
This is where trust is tested. This is where stories intersect.
Preserve the Collective
Objective
Identify and eliminate all hidden disruptors before it's too late.
Builders represent the collective. They must preserve trust, collaboration, and transparency while questioning everything—including themselves.
Operate in Secrecy
Objective
Quietly influence outcomes and reach the end without exposure.
Shadows know who each other are and work together in secret. They win by perception management, not domination.
Game Master • 248 Collective
The only neutral party who knows all roles. Assigns roles, maintains secrecy, curates narrative recaps, and protects the integrity of the game.
Each episode contains four core components that unfold across a 6-8 episode season.
Creative prompts, ethical dilemmas, and group exercises that generate social signal—not proof.
Anonymous elimination vote. Who do you trust least right now, and why? Role remains hidden.
Shadows privately select one Builder to remove. No explanation given. Not all losses come with visibility.
The Watchers vote, influence narrative focus, and shape pressure—but not outcomes.
Audience Power
Once per season, the audience unlocks The Signal—a cryptic insight that sharpens perception without naming names.
Examples:
"One Shadow has never voted first."
"At least one Builder has been eliminated by mistake."
There is no cash prize. The real currency is reputation, perception, and narrative legacy.
Featured placement across 248 platforms
Exclusive collaborations and opportunities
Reputation and perception currency
When only a small group remains, the Builders face a final decision:
If no Shadows remain, Builders win.
Risk eliminating one more participant.
If any Shadow remains when the game ends, the Shadows win.
There is no partial victory.
•Trust is built—and broken—in subtle ways
•Influence is often invisible
•Creation is the highest form of participation
This series is a mirror. Not everyone will like what they see.
This is an invite-only experience for creators and leaders who have been featured by 248 Collective.
